Alex Cox

Alex is a computationally minded geologist and engineer who combines earth systems models, complex datasets, and real-world observations to tackle large, inter-disciplinary projects. He has published peer-reviewed manuscripts on water resources, carbon cycle modelling, and Bayesian statistics which draw heavily on a robust coding background. He has an M.S. in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College and a B.Eng and M.Eng in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University. At MineraLogic, Alex uses his experience serving as an intermediary between the practical and computational aspects of the company.
